Hi, my name is Glenn Flaherty

My name is Glenn Flaherty and I grew up in the suburbs of Boston with a bedroom about 500 feet from a set of train tracks.

Only one [freight] train per day went by about 9PM. I remember falling asleep to that long train many nights as a kid.

But my model train experiences didn't start until my late thirties when my son DJ became addicted. Now I'm the financial backer for DJ's efforts. But I have lots of fun too working with this fantastic, energetic, knowledgeable and patient group of modelers.
