Construction continues

 Day 2

I had to wait till Monday after work to put the table tops on. The neighbors are use to me sawing late but I didn't want to push it, and I was pooped anyway.

 

Particle board layed down and ready to be screwed in place.

 

Drawing the track plan onto the top surface.

This next group of pictures was taken during the first week of construction.

First time I tried a cookie cutter type layout.

Actually a lot easier than the L girder I am use to.

Checking the grading, make it easy!!

You can see the river cut in the middle also.

 

Screwing down top surfaces to form contours.

Grades are completed, river cut in too.

 

Can't wait to fling some plaster, my favorite part of model railroading, "scenery!"

 

Laying out the Engine terminal. This was a rough idea and changed a couple times down the road.

 

First idea.... was modified later on
