Structures

There are many structures on the YSP but not all photographed closeup yet.

Click here for pictures of a couple of them.

Blue Diamond Ice House, located in Kittridge (Scratch built from wood and plastic)

Yosemite Portland Cement Company located in Moss Canyon

building has inside and outside lighting

Sawmill located in Merced Falls

This sawmill is actually temporary, it belongs on my modules I use at my local club. I am currently designing and will build a larger scratch built mill to replace this one.

Roof removed to see interior. All scratch built except for the one Keystone saw. All the conveyors and racks etc. are home made.

The large saw on the left is a clock gear, shhh don't tell anyone. ;o)

The flume on the left is not finished yet. Heck of a jump for the logs right now, don't you think?

Fueling Area near Incline on the YSP RR

Though this is not really a structure in it self, it's just a cool area I like. It is not done. I used temporary plastic buildings as place holders until I get the real builds built up. It beats a dirt filled lot with a sign .." Fueling Station Here"

This is the fueling station as you enter or leave the Merced area (the main layout). You must stop here for water and fuel as it's a 77 mile run up to El Portal from here. When fueling, correct sound effects come from within the structures.

Opps, we have a leak.

Repair crews busy repairing the broken pipe.
