San Rafael Parish Hall Run 2006
Once again San Rafael Parish has allowed the Poway Station to setup for an annual run at their parish hall. In conjunction with the Knights of Columbus who held their annual ice cream social the same weekend, church members and the public where treated to the sights and sounds of model railroading while eating ice cream and donuts. Does it get any better than that?
Setup took place during the week at night and the doors opened for the show on Friday and ran Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was a great time. All the hard work paid off. We setup a huge HO layout and a large O scale layout.
This year all the HO was run by our new Digitrax DCC system. This allowed multiple trains to run and many had sound on board.
