Weathering Tricks

Weathering with Photocopy Machine Toner
I'll bet you haven't tried this one! I discovered this one while changing the toner in our office copier. Now this stuff will stick to everything. You can use it on everything. Locomotives, rolling stock and buildings. It also looks great on the backdrop to represent smoke from chimneys and smoke stacks. A little goes a long way so start light.

When your wife isn't looking, snitch that puffy looking mop brush she uses to put her rouge on her cheeks. Just kidding, go to WalMart and buy your own for a couple bucks. Take this fluffly brush and dip it into the powder, knock some of it off by tapping it across your fingers and then dab, and brush on the powder.

Apply as much or little as you want.

When done, you can leave it as is or you can spray a light coat of Floquil's DullCoat over it to keep the powder from brushing off over time.
